SHADY LADY RENTALS LLC – TERMS AND CONDITIONS & RETURN POLICY

Welcome to Shady Lady Rentals LLC By renting beach shade equipment or any other items from us, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully.

1. RENTAL AGREEMENT
By completing a rental transaction, you agree to rent equipment provided by Shady Lady Rentals LLC for the agreed-upon time period and rate. All equipment remains the property of the Company at all times.

2. RENTAL PERIOD
- Rental periods are defined at the time of booking (e.g., daily or weekly).
- Equipment must be returned by 5pm.
- Late returns will result in a loss of the $100 deposit.

3. PAYMENT TERMS
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
- We accept online payments through debit and credit cards.
- Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect confirmed reservations.

4. SECURITY DEPOSIT
- A refundable security deposit of $100 is required.
- The deposit will be returned after inspection of equipment, provided there is no damage, loss, or excessive wear. This will be refunded within 24 hours of the return to inspect the shade for damages.

5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to:
- Use all equipment safely and as intended.
- Follow any setup or usage instructions provided.
- Secure equipment properly, especially in windy conditions.
- Never leave equipment unattended in unsafe conditions.

6. DAMAGE, LOSS, OR THEFT
- You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of rental equipment during your rental period.
- Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from your deposit or charged separately.
- If equipment is lost or stolen, you must notify us immediately. You will not receive the $100 deposit back. Your account will be charged an additional $150 to cover the cost of the shade.

7. WEATHER POLICY
- Beach conditions can change quickly. You are responsible for monitoring weather conditions.
- No refunds will be issued for early returns due to weather unless otherwise stated.
- In severe weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel reservations 24 hours in advance for safety reasons.

8. LIABILITY WAIVER
Shady Lady Rentals LLC is not liable for:
- Injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from use or misuse of equipment.
- Weather-related incidents or environmental conditions.
By renting, you assume all risks associated with use of the equipment.

9. Set up
A video of the set up directions are available upon request. We do not provide any services that set up the equipment on the beach.

RETURN POLICY
10. RETURNS
- Equipment must be returned in the same condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted.
- If pickup is scheduled, equipment must be ready and accessible at the agreed time between 8-10 am.
11. LATE RETURNS
- Late returns will incur daily rental charges of $35 per day when returned after 5pm.
- Continued failure to return equipment may result in replacement charges and loss of the $100 deposit.
12. EARLY RETURNS
- No refunds or credits will be issued for unused rental time unless approved at our discretion.
13. DAMAGED RETURNS
- If equipment is returned damaged, repair or replacement fees will apply.
- Charges will be based on the extent of damage and current replacement costs.
14. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the rental period may receive a full or partial refund.
- Last-minute cancellations are non-refundable.
- Refunds, if approved, will be issued using the original payment method.

15. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for misuse of equipment, unsafe behavior, or violation of these terms.

16. CHANGES TO TERMS
Shady Lady Rentals LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
